Beechcraft C-45

A version of the Beech Model 18, the C-45 was affectionately nicknamed the "Bug Smasher" by its pilots. The C-45 was a very pleasant aircraft to fly, but extremely demanding to land, especially in a crosswind. You simply could not relax until the engines were shut down and the wheel chocks in place.
