| "Major Mike Henderson, with his 444 Squadron, Auster VI. Mike in the rank of Captain. was one of the first Canadian Air OP pilots trained in England during WWII and later flew with 444 Squadron at CJATC, Rivers, Manitoba. Prior to his Last flight, Mike was instrumental in financing the purchase of one of the original 664 Squadron Austers from England. The Auster aircraft was shipped to Canada and now resides in the RCA Museum in Garrison Shilo, Manitoba along with L19, 16706". |
